He cleans his dagger
looks down at her shattered soul
smiles, laughs, walks around

Her soul is bleeding love
her tears floodin her broken self
and somewhere from the shatters
comes a scream
asking him why

He sits down
watching her ask
watching her bleed and weep
he smiles but has no answer

He waits
her voice starts fading
her question is no more heard
he feels the silence
he begins sharpenin his dagger

She lays there quiet
her soul scattered on the floor
no tears flood her
no love bleeds
her eyes watch him

He smiles
he shows off his sharp dagger
and starts walking away

All set to shatter another soul
in the name of love
while her soul was left to decay ...

Bereft ...

She watched the rain pour,
the clouds grey and gloom,
pouring away in a silent cry,
she loved watching it,
away from the world,
away from everyone,
she sat there holding her heart,
watching her mind's thoughts,
being painted away in those skies ...

She is lost,
she looks through the clouds,
finding the soul,
she once had,
she once loved ...

the rain poured away,
washing her heart away,
she walks out,
hoping to find the soul ...

she stands there amidst the crowd,
surrounded by sound,
crowded by familiar faces,
yet she was bereft from it all,
alone, hearing only the rain pour,
pouring away her heart's wishes, her heart's cries

and she stands there quiet,
closes her eyes,
lets the rain wash her away,
for nothing soothes her,
but only the grey gloom drops ...

Whole Again

You came wandering the garden of sorrows
hoping for what I don't know ...

You looked at me
I looked away ...

You walked up to me
My heart missed a beat ...

You reached me
I moved away ...

But you caught my hand
I tried pushing you away ...

You held on, did not let me go
I looked at you ...

Love was sparkling in your eyes
I stood still...

You pulled me close
I came close...

I looked at you more
I was scared ...

You pulled me closer
I shivered and looked away...

You hugged me
I felt the warmth...

I felt love
And hugged you back ...

Sorrow poured out of me
You held me closer and whispered sweetness in my ears
 
"open your eyes love,
your dream is here to stay..."

and I felt whole again ...
